Thought of the Day

Who under the age of, like, fifty gets legitimately sick any more than once every couple of years? Even with COVID-19, I don't understand how so many people have such crappy immune systems that they fall ill, and in some cases, croak or nearly croak. I also don't understand why society has to be shut down during a pandemic. Let nature run its course; the old and the weak die, and the rest of us carry on like usual.
