Thought of the Day
I was watching The Shawshank Redemption the other day and it occurred to me that it would've been pretty easy to escape from old prisons. Example: Alcatraz was known for being one of the most fortified prisons in the world, yet at least five people escaped the prison itself and reached the bay; one was caught on a nearby rock formation; a second made it to shore, approaching death from hypothermia, and was hospitalized and returned to the prison; three others, in a combined effort, have never been found, and their cases remain open with the U.S. Marshals Service.
