Thought of the Day

So the latest cover of Time features a young mother breastfeeding her 3-year-old son (who looks to be pushing 5). The picture is composed in the most off-putting way possible. Did the poor kid have any input on this misguided attempt at social/biological/psychological commentary? Did he sign any sort of consent papers? His peers are going to have a hell of a time at his expense once he starts kindergarten. I feel more sorry about him having to deal with an overbearing and narcissistic mother for the rest of his life. God bless America, home of vapid self-aggrandizement.
