A great way to improve population control would be for toy companies to stop making potty training dolls and other "realistic" dolls for kids. We program kids to be child-rearers from an age when they can barely wipe their own asses, so no wonder there're so many teen pregnancies. Conversely, the toy companies could take the opposite approach: produce dolls that are so realistic that owning one would be just as exhausting and disheartening as having a real baby. Then kids would grow up, reflect on their days playing with their obnoxious dolls, and think long and hard about having children.
