60 Minutes
There was an interesting segment on 60 minutes tonight about HIV miracle pills and their administration by the U.S. government in Uganda. The pills were said to have been patented in 2004 if I remember correctly, so why wasn't this on 60 Minutes six years ago? Regardless, the segment was very moving. It made the Bush-administration a little more palatable, despite the seemingly contrived patronization of the U.S. by some of the Ugandan interviewees. But hey, I'll give credit where credit is due. Well done W., hopefully we will be able to fund these expensive pills for a long while.
