Thought of the Day
There needs to be an invisible fence designed for children. This would really open up more time for parents to run errands and sift through home improvement catalogs. Plus, the fence would serve as a harbinger for what kind of person a child will be as an adult. Some kids will continually disregard the barrier, despite the physical pain, because they want to explore or play with the neighbors' dog. Others will be subservient to the fence's dominion and their day will be confined to the sandbox. The explorers, the ones willing to withstand a little electric shock so they can roam free, will be society's trailblazers and mavericks. The ones hanging out in the sandbox will be society's dullards and automatons, content to fall in line and tow the plow while they could be rocking the boat.
