Whenever you watch those shows like World's Wildest Police Videos, why do all the high-speed chases seem to take place in southern California? I remember being a kid and thinking of California as an insane place to live where your daily commute inevitably included having to avoid collisions with criminals' vehicles and the police cruisers chasing them.
