It's weird to remember that ten years ago today two planes crashed into the World Trade Center, a third into the Pentagon, and a fourth into a field in Pennsylvania. It's even weirder to think these attacks were orchestrated by either our own government or a dozen cave-dwelling jihadis using box cutters. Both circumstances seem equally implausible, making the events of that day ever the more daunting.
