Thought of the Day
I'm intrigued by stuffy conservative types like Newt Ginrich who refer to welfare recipients and OWS sympathizers as a "drain on society." Clearly these individuals aren't familiar with the term 'cyclical consumerism.' The entire monetary system is a never-ending drain, no matter how many people are slacking off. In fact, if there wasn't a "1%," the economy would have much less drainage. The term "drought on society" or "sponge on society" would be more accurate for Ginrich & Co. to employ.
