Physicists studying string theory have been attempting to formulate a "theory of everything" for a couple decades now. The "theory of everything" is an attempt to recreate "God's mind" and explain all known physical phenomena and link them together. I think my "theory of everything" trumps anything these fancy scientists have ever proposed: up is down, down is up, up is left, left is up, up is right, right is up, down is left, left is down, down is right, right is down. If you think my theory makes no sense, you obviously have yet to realize that all of those "directions" are arbitrary when you consider the Earth is floating around in a possibly endless soup of gas and space junk. There really is no up or down. There's just "that way." If you stand in a given spot and someone asks you to point down, you're going to point at the ground. But, if you draw a straight line from where you're pointing at the ground, that line is pointing "up" on the other side of the Earth. If Newton had thought as abstractly as I do, then he would have declared, "What goes up must come down, and what goes down must come up." Take that physics.
